Line of Duty's Adrian Dunbar shares adorable photo with baby granddaughter in AC-12 uniform

Line of Duty's Ted Hastings actor Adrian Dunbar has shared an adorable photo with his baby granddaughter Zephyr on Instagram - and fans have gone mad.

The Northern Irish TV star, who plays Superintendent Ted on the BBC1 drama, enjoyed Saturday cuddles with daughter Madeleine's little one.

But fans were sent into meltdown as they noticed gorgeous baby Zephyr was wearing a baby grow, which made reference to his team AC-12.

Madeleine captioned the photos: "Zephyr repping her Grandpop."

Her followers flooded the comments section with sweet messages.

Adrian's co-star Vicky McClure shared: "Aww adorable pics!! xxx"

A fan penned: "This may be the cutest thing I've ever seen!!"

"Your dad looks a very happy and proud man x" a third added.

Others labelled Adrian's granddaughter as "adorable".

Adrian's beloved daughter Madeleine, 34, gave birth in December, telling fans she welcomed a 'perfectly cooked' baby girl.

Madeleine broke tradition and proposed to Callum last year - but their romantic moment didn't quite go to plan.

The songwriter, who met her beau on Bumble, got down on one knee outside the Oxo Tower in London to ask Callum to be her husband.

However the momentous move was cut short after police were called on the pair for trespassing on a jetty on the River Thames.

Madeleine chose the spot because it was where she and Callum had shared their first kiss, however she didn't realise it had since been closed off to the public.

She said: "I was really nervous as I’d been waiting on this jetty for an hour. Callum sat down next to me and I got out an Irish Claddagh ring from a jewellery bag.

"But I was down on my knee declaring my love for this man when I heard a security guard shouting at us, telling us we were not supposed to be there and that they were calling the cops."

After being told police were on their way, Madeline and Callum scarpered and the songwriter admitted she broke down with the emotion of it all.

She said: “I just started bawling. I was crying and crying and crying because the moment was spoiled.

“But Callum said, 'Don’t worry. Yes, I will marry you’ and he let me put the ring on his finger.”
