Line Of Duty nears one million streams on RTE Player ahead of Season 6 finale

Line Of Duty is closing in on one million streams on the RTE Player ahead of the BBC show's much anticipated season 6 finale this weekend.

The award-winning gripping police thriller has been the most talked about shows on TV this year.

The series has been the most popular drama series broadcast on BBC Two and was the winner of the Royal Television Society Award and Broadcasting Press Guild Award for Best Drama Series.

It was included in a list of the Top 50 BBC Two shows of all time and in a list of the 80 best BBC shows of all time.

Series 1-5 has been available on RTÉ Player since April, so anyone only newly criminally addicted to the drama can catch up.

It’s shocking twists and stellar cast have seen viewers on the edge of their seats and full of praise on social media.

Jed Mercurio's smash-hit crime thriller stars Martin Compston, Vicky McClure and Fermanagh-born Adrian Dunbar in their roles as DS Steve Arnott, DI Kate Fleming and Superintendent Ted Hastings.
