Line of Duty: Martin Compston shares hilarious clip of Vicky McClure trying to prank him on set

Line of Duty star Martin Compston (who plays Steve Arnott) has shared a hilarious clip of Vicky McClure (Kate Fleming) trying to prank him while filming the show.

Posting on his social media pages, Compston shared clips of his co-star Vicky trying to scare him by hiding behind doors and jumping out at him.

Compston is unfazed however, as he barely reacts to her pranks and simply says "Is that it?" to one of them.

The Scottish actor then decides to give his co-star a taste of her own medicine, as he ends the video by jumping out and scaring her, resulting in some high-pitched screams from McClure.

Posting on Instagram, Martin Compston said that he's "Unflappable when in Arnott mode." He then adds: " @vicky.mcclure  still screaming I’m sure. have a good weekend troops! Line of Duty 6 Episode 5 Sunday 9pm."

The actor finishes by saying: "Can see a few McClure reactions to the ending."

This seems to suggest that we're in for a dramatic ending to Sunday night's episode. (Although, as far as Line of Duty goes, there aren't many episodes which don't end on some kind of a cliffhanger!)

In anticipation of the new episode, show creator Jed Mercurio has said that things are "not looking good" for Ted Hastings, as he policing nemesis DSI Patricia Carmichael is set to return this episode. Is her meddling in the affairs of AC-12 enough to leave us screaming?

For those who need a catch-up ahead of the next episode, here's a guide to all the possible Jo Davidson relatives who might be revealed in the next episode, as well as a recap of the key moments from last week's episode.

Line of Duty returns to our screens on Sunday, April 18, at 9pm.
