Line of Duty's final episode will be extended to 90 minutes - 30 minutes longer than the normal episode length.
Fans of the hit series have been on tenterhooks, waiting for the show's sixth season's loose ends to be tied up on Sunday.
And they've been promised answers, with Martin Compston promising, "there are a lot of pay-offs coming this Sunday. There are a lot of big answers that are coming, and I think it's deserved," the Daily Record reports.
Fans of the crime drama have now been waiting 10 years to find out who the mysterious fourth man is in an network of corrupt police officers.
Howver, there are some signs that the show is winding down with Greenock -born actor Martin, who plays DI Steve Arnott, saying it could be the "perfect ending" for the series.
Meanwhile, AC-12 has been disbanded and Supt Ted Hastings (Adrian Dunbar), has been forced into early retirement. DI Steve Arnott risks being fired for painkiller addiction while both he and DI Kate Fleming (Vicky McClure) are suffering from PTSD due to all the violent deaths they’ve witnessed.
