Line of Duty viewers have claimed they’ve noticed a major clue that hints at the identity of “H” – albeit hidden on a kitchen tile in the background of a scene.
The last few seasons of the hit BBC One police drama have focused on the hunt for “H”, a name given to a corrupt officer working within the upper echelons of the police.
While series five revealed that “H” was in fact not one person but several, the hunt still remains for the last “H”, also referred to as “the fourth man”.

During last night’s (4 April) episode, Steve Arnott (Martin Compston) is seen once again visiting Steph Corbett (Amy De Bhrún), the widow of slain undercover officer John Corbett (Stephen Graham).

As Arnott is seen chatting in Corbett’s kitchen, some viewers were fixated not on the conversation, but on the tiled pattern on the wall behind him.
The majority of the tiles are blank, but one of them carries a pattern that distinctly resembles the letter “H”.
“Anyone else noticed Steph Corbett’s kitchen tiles pattern?” asked one Twitter user. “H is everywhere.”
“Could be massively overthinking this, but.... Have we found H?” wrote someone else.
It’s not clear exactly what the clue would mean, however, with Steph not working for the police, and her late husband having been murdered by the villainous OCG.
It’s possible that the Easter egg, if deliberate, hints that Steph could hold the key to identifying the “fourth man”, even if she herself is not a candidate.
