Line of Duty fans were quick to predict a Bloodlands crossover in the next series as James Nesbitt appeared on screen.
Tonight saw Steve do some digging into bent coppers and he came across the name Marcus Thurwell, who just happened to be James Nesbitt.
Steve spoke to Chloe about Marcus and said he was believed to be a corrupt officer on the run in Spain.
But viewers got very excited when they saw James Nesbitt's face pop up on screen, with many of them predicting there could be a Bloodlands crossover in the future.
Bloodlands was another BBC show where James starred as a corrupt police officer called Goliath, with some viewers tonight suggesting he could be the famous H.
And lots of viewers shared their theories on social media.
Victoria Johnston said: "my ma has been predicting a #bloodlands and #lineofduty cross over for a few weeks now... better go find my purse."
Ed McGuinness said: "Are we about to see a Bloodlands / Line of Duty origin story?!"
Debbie Blackman said: "Goliath is H."
