Line of Duty fans get 'brilliant' response if they ask Amazon Alexa simple question

It's fair to say that millions of us have been completely taken over by Line of Duty fever.

The sixth series of the BBC One cop drama finally returned to screens last month after almost two years since series five aired.

And it's been all change at AC-12 with Detective Inspector Kate Fleming, played by Vicky McClure, leaving Superintendent Ted Hastings and Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott, played by Adrian Dunbar and Martin Compston, behind to join the murder investigation team.

But Kate had found herself roped back in the anti-corruption world as suspicions grow over members of the MIT -including its boss Detective Chief Inspector Joanne Davidson.

And viewers have been on the edge of their seats waiting to discover the identity of 'H'.

It also gets better as if you're a Line of Duty fans with an Amazon Alexa, you can get a brilliant response if you as just one simple question.

All you need to ask is: "Alexa, who is H? and the response has been described as 'brilliant', OK! reports.

Getting into Ted Hastings mode, the device returns the answer: “Mother of God! I can't tell you that, those bent coppers will have me bumped off!"

And if that isn't the kind of entertainment we need right now, we don't know what is.

For those who are up to date with the hit show, Martin Compston has warned viewers will "need therapy" after this weekend's episode.

In true Line of Duty fashion, the BBC One cop drama ended on a major cliff-hanger on Sunday night as AC-12 discovered a crucial new detail about the MIT's boss Jo Davidson.

The dramatic episode ended with DI Arnott and new recruit DC Chloe Bishop presenting Superintendent Ted Hastings with a file proving a DNA link between Davidson and another person.

And we've had to wait an entire week to *hopefully* find out who that person is.
