Line Of Duty cast reunite - and fans are convinced they've dropped a major spoiler about the next series

Line of Duty stars Vicky McClure, Martin Compston and Adrian Dunbar have reunited and fans think they've dropped a spoiler about the next series.

The actors, who play anti-corruption unit AC-12's Kate Fleming, Steve Arnott and Ted Hastings in the hit police series, met up for a drink while taking a break from catching bent coppers.

Photos were shared by the stars on social media and the jacket that Adrian was wearing in the snaps certainly didn't go unnoticed.

Martin, who plays Arnott, posted a picture of the trio by the bar and wrote: "Cannae beat a catch up with these two. Next time we’ll most likely be in uniform or at least Adrian will, I’ll be in a new 3 piece."

Followers pointed out that Adrian, whose character Superintendent Hastings was suspected to be the mysterious criminal mastermind 'H' in the fifth series, was wearing a Helly Hansen top.

Line of Duty enthusiasts are wondering if this is a hint.

"HH on the jacket, 2 Hs on the mirror," said one follower.

"A blue HH jacket?" asked another.

Writer Jed Mercurio also tweeted a photo of the cast saying: "The Gaffer Adrian Dunbar nervously awaiting arrival of secret guest stars."

The BBC drama, which saw AC-12 investigate a possible police collusion with hijackers of drugs transport in series five, had millions of viewers glued to their screens every Sunday night.

The series, which had the nation gripped with talk of the identity of 'H', ended in May.
