Line of Duty: Adrian Dunbar hilariously surprises Q Radio host Declan Wilson

Line of Duty star Adrian Dunbar surprised Q Radio host Declan Wilson by dropping him a Ted Hastings-inspired message for his morning show.

The Fermanagh actor, who has achieved widespread acclaim and praise for playing the role of Hastings on the BBC Show, left a message for Q Radio's breakfast host, who's a noted fan of the show.

In the message, Dunbar congratulated Declan on his recent marriage to wife Kelly.

He commented on the fact that Declan does a good impersonation of Hastings, before telling him to "keep up the good work."

Dunbar also threw in a few of Hastings' catchphrases to boot, including telling Declan to keep things to "the letter of the law."

Co-host Yasmin Zemmoura hinted that she had a surprise in store on Monday morning, before airing Adrian Dunbar's message onto the airwaves, much to the surprise of Declan.

In his message, Dunbar said: "Morning Declan son, I believe you recently got married to Kelly. Well, I hope she's keeping you in the line - the line of duty that is. I also hear you do a very good impersonation of me, keep up the good work on Q breakfast. But just make sure you keep it to the letter of the law. Alright Declan, keep 'er lit."

28-year-old Declan Wilson recently got married to his wife Kelly in October.

The radio presenter got engaged in 2017, and their wedding had been delayed twice due to Covid.
