Line of Duty actor Adrian Dunbar hints more H mystery may be yet to come

Line of Duty actor Adrian Dunbar has subtly hinted that there may be more H mystery in the future.

The actor, who plays Superintendent Ted Hastings, was being interviewed by host Tom Allen on the red carpet at the BAFTA TV awards when he said 'there may be a way to go with all of that'.

Although fans finally found out who "H" was at the end of season six, most felt that there were still many unanswered questions.

Creator Jed Mercurio's said he'd created a metaphor for today's politics with the show, but wouldn't shed light on whether there would be a seventh season.

The BBC has also kept quiet for now on the future of the show but Adrian Dunbar appears to have given us some hope with his red carpet chat.

After he was asked what it was like being one of the five people who knew who "H" actually was, Adrian replied: "Absolutely, we knew who 'H' was . . . and I mean, you know, I mean there may be a way to go with all of that, we don't know yet, do we?

He added: "I mean, there are a lot of rumours, who knows?"

After interviewer Tom Allen said: "You're really good at evading serious questioning on this, laughing, to which Dunbar replied: "I just thought I'd give you something there."

After Tom asked if we were going to get another series soon, Adrian replied: "Don't know about that, whether we see another series.

"I'm sure everybody wants one; we certainly want one."
