Line of Duty actor Adrian Dunbar confirms 'H' will be exposed as he teases identity

Line of Duty star Adrian Dunbar has teased the big finale of the BBC drama this weekend, confirming the identity of ‘H’ will finally be revealed.

The Ted Hastings actor promised all will be confirmed, amid claims the series could end without anyone knowing who ‘H’ really is.

It’s known the mystery person is an undercover cop working for organised crime, with Ted now firmly in the frame.

Despite believing he was working undercover to identity ‘H’, Hastings was left stunned to learn he was being accused.

GMB fans stunned by clip of Susanna Reid as child actor alongside Line of Duty star

Amid divided views from fans over whether he really is a bent copper, or if it’s all a red herring, the actor has spoken out.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday, Adrian remained coy as hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid grilled him over the latest twist.

Asked whether the was ‘H’ or not, he said: “I can’t say… I’m not gonna answer that question.”

He added: “You’ve got this big finale coming up on Sunday, a 90 minute feature-length episode, lots of interrogation.”

Piers wasn’t having it though, and was desperate to know the truth.

But Adrian refused to give anything way, while appearing to confirm the identity would be revealed in the last episode, amid recent suggestion it could continue into the potential next series.

He said: “Sunday night at 9pm, tune in like the rest of us and you’ll find out.”

Susanna upped her game, asking the star to spell "definitely" after his character spelled it wrong in a recent episode, just like the mystery 'H' did.

Adrian added: “I’m not answering that question in case it incriminates me.”

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
