If you're a vegan and love chocolate, getting your fix is about to become a whole lot easier.
Premium chocolatiers Lindt & Sprüngli are set to launch two new exciting additions to their range - and they’re entirely vegan-friendly.
The new plant-based versions of Lindt’s best-selling chocolate bars will be available in two flavours: classic recipe vegan smooth and vegan hazelnut, both priced at £3.
Created with a delicious combination of Lindt’s premium cocoa blended with gluten-free oat drink and almond paste, these vegan bars replicate the chocolate brand’s signature silky smooth taste perfectly.
Unfortunately, shoppers will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on these delicious chocolate bars as they’re not available until January 2022.
But, chocolate junkies can still get their fix as Lindt has also launched their first-ever hot chocolate - and it’s perfect for those frosty winter nights.
Promising to provide the smoothest, creamiest and most indulgent hot chocolate you've ever tasted, unlike many others on the market, the Lindt Hot Chocolate doesn’t contain milk powder.
Instead, it is made up of more Lindt chocolate and cocoa (35 per cent cocoa solids to be exact), giving it that famous rich flavour.
What's more, it tastes equally as good with cold milk, if you’re not a lover of hot drinks - and it takes seconds to whip up. Simply add 3 heaped teaspoons (15g) into 200ml of hot or cold milk, stir well until smooth and creamy and voila - it's that simple.
The all new hot chocolate, priced at £4, is available to buy from major retailers now including Tesco, Amazon and Ocado.
There's plenty of other leading chocolate brands who have produced vegan alternatives, including Galaxy and more recently, Dairy Milk.
After two years of development, Brits can now get their hands on the Cadbury Plant Bar in "Smooth Chocolate" and "Smooth Chocolate with Salted Caramel pieces".

Priced at £2.50 each, the new dairy-free chocolates is available to buy from Sainsbury’s stores now, and will land in other major supermarkets and newsagents from January 2022.
Each bar is made with a blend of cocoa, almond paste and rice extract to deliver a smooth texture.
The move comes after a survey suggested almost a quarter of vegans missed Cadbury Dairy Milk more than any other chocolate.
