Lindsay Lohan's stepmom arrested after allegedly throwing glass candle holder at husband

The troubled stepmom of Lindsay Lohan was arrested and charged with battery overnight in Florida after she allegedly hurled a glass object at her husband, police said.

Kate Major Lohan, who is married to Michael Lohan, the actress's father, was booked shortly after 3 a.m. Friday in Boca Raton after she allegedly threw a candle in a glass holder at her husband, according to a police report obtained by the New York Daily News.

The candle holder did not hit Lohan _ who was not named in the report _ directly but shattered upon hitting a palm tree behind him, and the glass ultimately cut his forearm, he told police.

"I stated to Kate that there was glass located on the front lawn walkway and she said that she did not know how it got there," the officer wrote in his report.

Major Lohan was taken into custody due to inconsistencies with her statement to police coupled with her husband's claims and injuries. She was scheduled to appear in court Friday.

It's the latest legal incident for Major Lohan, who last August was taken in by authorities for a mental health evaluation after she called the cops on Michael after he took their young children away from their home while she was drunk, according to TMZ.

During that incident, Major Lohan, who reported a kidnapping, made racial comments about the cop and claimed she would "kill us all" if police couldn't locate her kids, according to the police report filed at the time.

The 35-year-old Major Lohan was previously arrested in 2014 for driving under the influence _ a bust that came with an eight-month jail sentence _ and in 2016 for allegedly attacking a cop while she appeared to be intoxicated.

Major Lohan and Michael Lohan _ who was previously married to Lindsay's mother, Dina, for 22 years _ tied the knot in 2014 and have two kids together.
