Linda Pratt from Craigneuk is this weeks Say It With Flowers winner

A special mum and gran who went “above and beyond” during lockdown has been recognised for her hard work.

Linda Pratt, from Craigneuk, spent lockdown caring for her elderly parents who were isolating during the pandemic.

Linda’s daughter, Megan, praised her mum’s hard work., saying: “She was non-stop every day. She had a tough time with my gran and papa, as they were shielding, so she was delivering them their groceries, medicine and other essential needs.

“She was at their house every day and to this day she’s still helping with shopping, medication and everything else they need.”

Linda also became a new gran last year, which is something she had always wanted. Her grandson, Jaiden Johnston, will be one in October.

“She was so happy when I had Jaiden,” Megan said.

“She loves to spend time with him. Whenever I need her to look after him, she always accepts. Nothing is too much for her, she works so hard for her family. It is amazing.”

When Megan got in touch with us and wanted to show her mum their appreciation, we were only happy to help.
