Linda Pizzuti sends Liverpool message after Reds return to action

Linda Pizzuti Henry was happy to see Liverpool make their return to action on Sunday.

The Reds travelled to Goodison Park to take on local rivals Everton where a 0-0 draw was played out.

The wife of Liverpool's principal owner, FSG chief John W Henry, said it was 'wonderful' to watch Jurgen Klopp's side return to the pitch after over three months.

Linda took to social media to share a message with fans following the stalemate.

She wrote to Twitter: "After 106 days, @LFC returned to the pitch.

"We took just one point from the goalless Merseyside derby today, with 5 more points needed.

"Wonderful to watch them play, though definitely different without fans."

The Reds are next in action on Wednesday as Crystal Palace visit Anfield.

Liverpool, who are currently 23 points clear of Manchester City, need five more points to seal a maiden Premier League title.
