Linda Nolan, 60, admits she hasn't had sex in 12 years as she talks body image issues

Linda Nolan admitted she hasn't had sex in 12 years.

The actress, 60, hasn't got between the sheets with someone new since her husband Brian Hudson passed away in 2007 following his battle with skin cancer.

Linda admitted, although she would like to have sex, she has "issues with her body because of the scars" and would like to lose the weight she had put on through being ill.

Linda was first diagnosed with cancer in 2005 and although it went into remission, the cancer came back in 2017.

However, Loose Women star Coleen's sister confessed she wasn't "climbing the walls" despite not having sex in 12 years.

She told new! magazine: "No [I haven't slept with anyone] and I lost him 12 years ago. Don't worry, I'm not climbing the walls."

Linda was with Brian for 28 years and they were married for 26 years from 1981 until his death in 2007.

Now 12 years later, the blonde bombshell confessed she is ready to find a new love for the next chapter of her life.

The Celebrity Big Brother star has scars from her mastectomy and reconstruction surgery.

Yet the reality star discovered the cancer had returned just 12 years later in 2017 and it was incurable, although it was treatable.

Linda admitted it may be difficult on the sex side to begin with because she has "issues" with her body following the mastectomy and reconstruction surgery.

She added: "Of course and sex is part of that. I have issues with my body right now.

"I want to lose the weight I've put on through being ill and I've got issues because of the scars from my mastectomy and the reconstruction surgery."

Last year, Linda revealed she would like to find someone to love because it was quite lonely on her own.

She told BBC Radio 5 Live's You Me and The Big C podcast: "You know, I'm 59, it's not about sex any more – although that’s quite good. That’s just a bonus!

"It is for companionship, and maybe going on holiday with somebody or going to the movies with somebody instead of my sisters, you know what I mean?"

Linda was first diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in 2005 before going into remission.
