Linda Lusardi shares Easter joy as she takes steps towards recovery from coronavirus

Linda Lusardi has explained that she is 'feeling so much better' as she continued to recover from her battle with Covid-19.

The former glamour model, 61, shared a cheerful-looking picture on Instagram where she donned bunny ears and made the most of the Easter weekend sunshine.

"Have a lovely Easter. Say Home, Stay Safe. Thanks for all you kind wishes and messages. I am feeling so much better," she captioned the social media post.

She was spending time with her son Jack, who sipped on a Martini in their luscious garden.

Linda had previosuly been fighting for her life in intensive care after testing positive for COVID-19.

She has since returned home from hospital and continues to recover from the deadly virus.

Appearing in high spirits for her latest selfie, Linda caught some rays and cast a resilient smile toward the camera.

The post was inundated with positive messages from her fans as they wished the television personality well on her journey back to health.

Among the messages was also a post from TV presenter Eamonn Holmes, who left a collection of Easter-themed emojis.

"Glad to hear you are much better. Hope your hubby is too. Xx," wrote another fan.

Linda responded to the comment and explained that her husband is now suffering from hay fever but has seen the back of Covid-19.

"So glad you got through this horrible virus! My friends mum is in intensive care on a ventilator please pray for her," wrote another fan.

Since returning home, Linda has spoken out about her terrifying ordeal and urged people to follow guidelines and remain at home.

She recounted that she had blue vomit and feared she would die with 0% oxygen in her blood.

Speaking during Good Morning Britain this week, she explained her relief at returning home: "I sat in the garden with the sun on my face and listened to the birds. I held Jack's hand and thought I'm so so glad I’m here."
