Linda Lusardi has opened up about her battle with coronavirus, admitting it was so painful that she wanted to die.
The Page 3 model, 61, is now recovering at home after spending ten days in hospital fighting the deadly bug.
She said that she and her husband Sam Kane, who also had Covid-19, were left in despair but it was the thought of her children that kept her going.
Linda told The Sun: "It got to the stage where both of us were praying we wouldn't wake up because it was so bad."
"We just looked at each other and said, 'Look, we can't take this anymore,'" Sam added.
"It was horrific. It was like the devil's hands were strangling me and holding me down and laughing in my face.
"It's the deepest, darkest place we’ve ever been.
"We just thought that if we don't wake up, it's not the end of the world."
Sam kept Linda's fans updated as she battled the illness, which he said left her at "death's door".
Linda had been on oxygen in hospital while she fought coronavirus.
Thankfully, she was let out of hospital at the end of March.
While he battled coronavirus too, he had more mild symptoms and was let out of hospital sooner.
There have now been 1,009,478 confirmed cases of coronavirus worldwide, with 52,853 dead.
211,879 people have recovered from the bug.
