Jack Diamond was rewarded for his impressive performance in the midweek EFL Trophy win at Oldham Athletic with a start at Sincil Bank, taking the place of Chris Maguire who dropped to the bench.
And leading scorer Charlie Wyke, who missed the Wigan game through injury, returned up front, replacing Will Grigg who was named among the subs.
