Lincoln City and Charlton make moves as Leeds United's Robbie Gotts becomes hot property

Leeds United midfielder Robbie Gotts is attracting significant interest from the EFL ahead of the end of the domestic transfer window later this week.

The 20-year-old has caught the eye with the U23 ranks in recent years and made his senior debut in the FA Cup third-round defeat to Arsenal earlier this year.

League football continues to escape his grasp, however, and a loan move with regular first-team action could provide a significant increase in opportunities.

According to reports via our sister site Lincolnshire Live, a total of three clubs in League One are looking to secure the services of the youngster.

Lincoln City, Charlton Athletic and Swindon Town are all said to be eyeing a move, though the latter are 'dragging their feet' on a potential swoop.

A move to Charlton would provide the opportunity to work with former Leeds man Lee Bowyer, which could appeal to the Whites.

However, a decision will likely come down to who provides the best opportunities for the duration of the season to assist in his development.
