Limitless Win's Ant and Dec left 'on edge' as Newcastle best mates take home £100,000

Ant and Dec confessed to being left with 'sweaty palms' as a Newcastle duo left them on edge with their appearance on Limitless Win, before going onto leave £100,000 richer.

The I'm A Celebrity presenters' game show, which launched at the start of 2022, made its return to screens on Christmas Day as celebrities like Rylan and Jimmy Carr bid to win plenty of cash for charity. Jimmy was back on the show alongside Katherine Ryan on Saturday night, to finish what they started. However, things didn't out too well as a decision made by 8 out of 10 Cats host Jimmy proved to very costly.

As Jimmy and Catherine were left rueing their luck, Ant and Dec welcomed Geordie best mates Helen and Kelly to the studio, remarking on the obvious similarities to the friends' close relationship and their own. The lads were on hand to give Helen and Kelly a much needed lifeline early on, as their answer on how many sweets were in a tube of Smarties helped to keep them in the game.

Helen and Kelly admitted they'd gone on Limitless Win to 'take a risk' and they certainly did that, leaving just a few seconds on the clock on multiple occasions as they deliberated whether to cash out or lock in an answer. They managed to successfully negotiate questions on Britney Spears' chart debut, Sandra Bullock film Gravity and hopscotch.

Ant and Dec told Helen and Kelly they had 'sweaty palms' from witnessing their last ditch decisions and, as amounts well over £1million flashed up on the ladder in front of them, the women ended up cashing out on £100,000, after being stumped by a question on how deep the largest man-made hole on earth was.

While none the wiser, Kelly still seemed keen to take a risk but was convinced by a much more cautious Helen to take the money, with Ant and Dec telling them they'd been "amazing," before Dec remarked: "Oh, I love those two."
