Limerick's Cian Lynch has been named Hurler of the Year for 2021 at the PwC GAA All-Star awards.
It is the second time he has won the award after picking it up in 2018.
Limerick were fantastic in 2021, completing a first back-to-back All-Ireland success in their history, and Lynch was keyat centre-half forward.
A heroic performance in the final win over Cork showed Lynch was key to Limerick's success.
He joins Henry Shefflin as the only multiple Hurler of the Year winner since 1995 but when including the old Texaco Awards, DJ Carey, Brian Whelehan and Brian Corcoran are the other multiple winners.
Lynch has been included on the shortlist for RTÉ Sportsperson of the Year.
Kilkenny's Eoin Cody picked up the Young Hurler of the Year award.
