A week after the GAA gave the green light for club championships to restart, competitions around the country are underway.
And tonight, the Limerick SHC really kicked into gear as 2016 All-Ireland kingpins Na Piarsaigh got their campaign underway.
And they had plenty to prove when they faced Kilmallock at the LIT Gaelic Grounds, after they were dethroned in last year's county final by rivals Patrickswell.
But in resurgent second-half display, Kilmallock made a big statement as they avenged a heavy 2019 defeat to Na Piarsaigh at the Gaelic Grounds.
In the intermediate championship, Mungret St. Pauls got the victory over Kildimo Pallaskenry thanks to a last-minute winner.
