Limerick GAA club suspend activity after positive Covid-19 test

A Limerick GAA club has become the latest to close their doors after a member tested positive for Covid-19.

Claughaun GAA announced the news this evening, writing: "Due to notification of a positive COVID-19 test within the club, all activities have been suspended until further notice."

"Entry to club grounds is strictly prohibited and the club await clarification regarding upcoming fixtures."

The Limerick city club were in hurling championship action over the weekend with their intermediate, junior and minor teams all playing matches.
