Lily Sutkus learns surprise and joy of first muskie: Earns Fish of the Week honors

Lily Sutkus of Countryside sent a reminder what fishing is all about. While pike fishing with her dad, Steve, on Lake Bemidji in Minnesota in late September, she hooked her first muskie, a 35-incher, on a gold spoon.

“What a fight it was,’’ she messaged on Instagram. “I’ll never forget that feeling.’’
