Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell are engaged.
The 31-year-old actress shared the happy news on Friday by sharing a gallery of photos from the proposal to her Instagram page.
One snap showed the smitten couple cuddled up together as Lily - the daughter of English musician Phil Collins and American Jill Tavelman - flaunted her stunning huge ring.
Another romantic image was snapped as Charlie, 37, went down on one knee and a third of Lily's hand glistening with her new bling was posted.
She captioned the upload: "I’ve been waiting my lifetime for you and I can’t wait to spend our lifetime together..."
Surrey born Lily and Charlie appear to have been out hiking when he asked her to be his future wife.
Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile actress Lily cut a casual figure for their outdoor outing in a striped sweater teamed with jeans.
Charlie was equally relaxed in a T-shirt and cap.
Writer and director Charlie also shared the news on his Instagram page by penning under a snap of Lily: "In a time of uncertainty and darkness you have illuminated my life. I will forever cherish my adventure with you."
The couple first revealed they were dating in 2019.
Back in 2017 Lily opened up about wanting to find love as she chatted with Sunday People.
Lily said: “I’ve learned a lot about myself because of the relationships that haven’t worked out.
“I’ve had some good and some bad relationships.
“I want someone to make me laugh. I need to just be enough for someone. I would like to be accepted in my pyjamas or wearing something glamorous.”
Lily also told that she is hoping to start family. "My goal is to be a mother one day,” she said.
