Forget Brat summer – that’s so last year.
Instead, prepare yourself for West End Girl winter. In other words, Lily Allen’s cultural takeover continues at speed, and the latest stop in her path to global domination was the 16Arlington x Antony Price fashion salon last night.
The singer, 40, wasn’t in the crowd for the show, though. For Price’s first runway show in 36 years, she strutted down the catwalk in a Breakfast at Tiffany’s-inspired long navy gown with a lime-green lining. As she posed (complete with a cigarette, of course), she was accompanied by a procession of other famous faces: Lila Moss, Adwoa Aboah and Lara Stone among them.
The show marked Price’s collaboration with Marco Capaldi, who heads up the London-based label 16Arlington. The brand opted not to show at London Fashion Week this year, instead dropping a hot collaboration with M&S instead.

And now, they’ve paired up with Price, a celebrated English fashion designer primarily known for his suits. He has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry: David Bowie, Duran Duran and Roxy Music among them – and dressed big-name stars like Anjelica Huston, Diana Ross, Yasmin Le Bon and even Dita Von Teese.
All of which is to say: this was a big deal in the fashion world, and in addition to the models, attendees included stars like Simone Ashley and Beth Ditto, who sat front row.

In addition to Allen’s look, there were plenty of other striking pieces: Lila Moss wore a silver feathered minidress, while Lara Stone modelled a black and white animal print dress seemingly inspired by the tiger-print gown Jerry Hall wore, for Bryan Ferry’s music video Let’s Stick Together. All of them also wore shoes by Manolo Blahnik, created in collaboration with 16Arlington.
Allen herself is no stranger to serving us looks, of course. In October, she dropped her album West End Girl, which drew inspiration from her separation from Stranger Things actor David Harbour to tell some jaw-dropping stories of open marriages, broken trust and alleged infidelity.

Since then, she’s made revenge dressing an art. At the start of the month, she made headlines when she wore a sheer bralette and silk slip skirt to the CDFA Awards, courtesy of designer Colleen Allen.
She’s kept the theme going, too: last week, she attended the Hunger Games: On Stage premiere wearing a sheer black knit gown from John Galliano for Christian Dior’s FW 1999 collection.
