Lily Allen joins celebrity dating app 6 months after split from Meridian Dan

Lily Allen is back on the singles market - but not for long, if her renewed attempts at finding love pay off.

The Smile singer split from her DJ boyfriend Daniel Lawrence - also known as Meridian Dan - six months ago, and now she's flirting with the possibility of a new romance by signing up for a celebrity dating app.

Described as Tinder for famous people, Raya - which has previously been used by the likes of Cara Delevingne, Ruby Rose, Sharon Stone, Joe Jonas, John Cusack, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Teri Hatcher, Elijah Wood and Bonnie Wright - is used exclusively by celebs to find like-minded (and minted) lovers.

"Lily's had some time to herself since her and Dan parted ways in January but she finally feels like it’s time to put herself back on the market," a source told the Sun .

"She's looking for a real gentleman and thinks a celebrity dating app will be the perfect place to find someone who understands her demanding lifestyle and career."

Lily has had more than her fair share of heartache, having previously been married to Sam Cooper but finalising their divorce last year after four years.

She's previously joined the mile-high club with Liam Gallagher on board a flight to Japan, and has documented her romps with female escorts in her 2019 autobiography.

And mum of two Lily recently revealed she's suprised she's not dead from her wildly hedonistic days at the height of her fame.

The 34-year-old, who first stepped into the spotlight in 2002, has previously admitted to taking drugs cocaine and ketamine in the past.

Looking back on her career, she told The Guardian : "I'm surprised I'm not dead. The music industry was a hedonistic place in the noughties.

"People who indulge don't generally come out the other side. Having children triggered responsibilities."

She confessed to having a sex addiction, adding: "Sex can still be an addiction. I chose sex over heroin. I didn’t realise at the time. Addiction can manifest itself in all manners of ways.

"You use substances or sex to put a plaster over something else, like pain or fear. There are all manner of destructive things you can get up to."

Mirror Online has contacted Lily's rep for comment.
