Lily Allen has reportedly parted ways with her management company, IE: Music.
The Sun claims the company deemed the singer's last album, the Mercury Prize-nominated No Shame, "disappointing" due to sales being lower than expected.
"IE: Music had thought they would be a match made in heaven with Lily but it has proved the opposite," the source said. "Her album was a disappointment when it came to sales, peaking at just number eight in the charts.
"She also struggled to sell tickets for the American leg of her No Shame tour last year — and pulled out of two dates, in Chicago and Minneapolis, due to an inflamed throat and vocal cords."
Allen has not commented on the situation and has directed all enquiries to DJ Seb Chew, who is acting as her manager.
No Shame was released in June last year and peaked at number eight in the UK charts. The album positively received by critics, including a four-star review in The Independent.
"Allen never overdramatises the already-dramatic – divorce, children, a stalker, media intrusion – rather she tackles it in an offhand and always bluntly honest manner," concluded critic Roisin O'Connor.
Allen also released her memoir My Thoughts Exactly last year.
