Lily Allen and Olivia Dean lead nominations for prestigious Ivors songwriting awards

Lily Allen, Olivia Dean, and CMAT are among the artists nominated for songwriting awards at the 2026 Ivors.
Organisers have stated their commitment to recognising human creativity and the cultural value of songwriters amidst growing concerns about AI's role in music.
More than half of the 61 shortlisted songwriters and composers are first-time nominees, with Lily Allen's album West End Girl receiving a nomination in the Best Album category.
Other notable nominees include Wolf Alice's Ellie Rowsell, Lola Young, Florence Welch, rising artist Jacob Alon, and Brit Award-winning rapper Little Simz.
The Ivors ceremony, in partnership with Amazon Music, is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 21 May, at Grosvenor House in London.
