Lily Allen admits struggling with 'bald patches' and grey hairs in deleted post

Lily Allen has candidly admitted there's nothing she can do about her "bald patches" as she attempted to tackle her grey hairs in lockdown.

The singer, 35, sang about getting rid of her greys in a now-deleted Instagram post before telling fans she was going to attempt to dye the hair herself.

Despite the hair salons opening later this week, Lily was determined to cover up the silver strands as she seemingly wasn't ready to embrace the grey just yet.

She told fans: "Today I'm gonna get rid of all these greys there's nothing I can do about my bald patches."

Bare-faced Lily panned the camera closer to her hair so that fans could get a better look at her grey strands among her dark hair.

She proceeded to poke fun at her "hair loss" but later made the decision to delete the Instagram Story.

The Smile hitmaker is currently isolating with Stranger Things actor David Harbour, 45, and her two daughters.

In fact, it seems as though isolation has made her and David's relationship reach new heights, after David was rumoured to have popped the question to Lily.

Last month, Lily had shared a mirror selfie pic with her fans on social media as she showed off her killer abs during lockdown.

While Lily looked impressive in her cropped gym wear, it was the sparkling diamond ring on her finger that caught the eye of her fans.

She has been wearing this ring since December and it sparked engagement rumours at the time, which had since died down again.

This time though, Lily was asked directly by one of her followers: "Um…. engagement ring??????????????”

Instead of ignoring the comment, this time Lily responded with the not so cryptic: "first rule of engagement club………”

This was a reference to Brad Pitt's line in critically acclaimed move Fight Club.

Playing Tyler Durden in the film, he says: "The first rule of Fight Club is: You do not talk about Fight Club."

This has been the clearest indicator that Lily and David have taken the next step in their relationship but they have not officially confirmed their engagement despite Lily's comment.

Mirror Online has contacted Lily and David's reps for further comment.
