Lily Allen has revealed she has been banned from the Hinge dating app following her split from David Harbour.
The singer, 40, and Stranger Things actor, 50, broke up in December and it was later claimed he had a three-year affair with a costume designer.
Allen released an explosive “revenge” album called West End Girl last week that accused him of cheating with a girl called “Madeline”.
Amid the shockwaves caused by the tell-all album, she has opened up about her relationship status and reflected on the pitfalls of online dating.
Discussing dating apps, she told Interview Magazine: “They’re awful, especially if you’re going through heartbreak. There is nothing more depressing than hundreds of people that are nothing like the person that you’re missing.
“It’s just like ‘No, that’s not him. That’s not him. That’s not him.’”

She then revealed she was banned from Hinge over suspicions that she was impersonating herself.
Allen recalled: “I’m like, ‘I can prove that I’m that person.’ [Hinge are] like, ‘You’ll need to send us your ID.’ And I’m like: ‘Actually my name and the name on my ID aren’t the same.’”
The hitmaker’s real name is Lily Rose Beatrice Cooper.
She was eventually booted off Hinge, but does remain on the exclusive dating app Raya - although she said she’s “not looking to date another famous person”.
When asked if she was “maybe dating someone,” she said she’s “not in a relationship” but there are some people that she “meets up with”.
Last week, Allen discussed how “humiliating” it is to be a 40-year-old woman doing online dating.

“The dating scene is much harder as a 40-year-old woman with two teenage children than it is for a 34-year-old woman. It’s bitterly disappointing,” she told Perfect Magazine.
“There’s an element of humiliation and shame around it. The world doesn’t portray women of my age as being desirable. And it just feels like climbing up a mountain.”
She has two daughters from her first marriage to Sam Cooper - Ethel, 13, and Marnie Rose, 11.
Allen rocked the music world last week when she accused Harbour of cheating with a woman bearing the pseudonym “Madeline”.
Costume designer Natalie Tippett, 34, has since identified herself as the woman in question, having worked with Harbour on the set of the Netflix film We Have A Ghost in 2021.

In her new song, Madeline, Allen sings, “How long has it been going on / Is it just sex or is there emotion / He told me it would stay in hotel rooms, never be out in the open.”
She also sings, “I can't trust anything that comes out of his mouth,” while other lyrics talk about a couple who has a “discreet” open marriage.
When asked about the song, Tippett told the Daily Mail: “Of course I’ve heard the song.
“But I have a family and things to protect. I have a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, and I understand this is going on. It’s a little bit scary for me.”
Tippett did not offer more comment on the lyrics, saying: “Yeah… I just don’t feel comfortable talking about it at the moment.”
The Standard has previously approached David Harbour’s representatives for comment.
