Lil Nas X had to hit back at ridiculous claims that he's pretending to be gay as a publicity stunt.
A Twitter user posed the question that the star was faking his sexuality just to hit the charts, but the Industry Baby singer immediately shut it down.
"What if Lil Nas X is pretending and acting all gay in his songs and music videos just for the numbers and charts?" they asked. "Show business."
The 22-year-old musician swiftly responded: "no i just like d**k. nothing deep to it lol."
His song Montero (Call Me By Your Name) is currently number eight on the Billboard Hot 100.
Lil Nas received backlash for the music video - in which he pole danced his way to hell in order to give Satan a lap dance.
A while later, many complained about him kissing a man during one of his BET Awards performance.
He responded to the backlash by coming back with a wilder and greater music video for Industry Baby.
Using inspiration from his real-life Satan Shoes legal troubles, the Old Town Road star parodied what his life would be like if he got sent to prison.
In the music video, he got sentenced to five years at Montero State Prison and began to plot his prison escape as he sang.
From pink jumpsuits and weightlifting to naked dances in the prison showers, the video had everything.
After disgusting trolls complained about the creative video, Lil Nas and Jack Harlow - who featured on the song - took to social media to put a stop to it.
"White corporate music execs funded a music video with Lil Nas X, where a bunch of Black men are in prison twerking," one angry person tweeted.
"And the lone white man, Jack Harlow, is sexually involved with a FEMALE guard. But all the Black men are sexually engaging with each other. This is progress?"
Lil Nas had to break it down to the user and wrote: "Lemme explain. Lil nas = gay, so he wit boy. jack harlow = straight, so he wit girl. got it??"

He added in another tweet: "All jokes aside the idea of a gay agenda doesn’t make sense. if someone influences you to suck c**k you probably already wanted to suck c**k.”
Meanwhile, Jack took to the platform to announce that he was 'honoured to be a part' of the video.
"Nas wrote the whole treatment for this video and I followed his lead every step of the way," he said.
"If he had asked me to be in that shower scene I woulda been in that shower scene. I just let the mastermind cook."
