Rapper Lil Jon hit back at a Republican politician who attempted to use the lyrics to “Get Low” to celebrate his victory in the election.

The American rapper showed his political allegiances in response to congressman Paul Gosar, who tried to use the lyrics from his 2002 hit “Get Low” to gloat about his win in Arizona.

After winning 69.69 percent of the vote in his district, Gosar decided to riff off Lil Jon’s original song, which includes the line: “Three, six, nine, damn she fine.”

“69.69 damn that’s fine,” he tweeted, adding: “What say you @LilJon.”

However, the 49-year-old rapper was having none of it, responding to Gosar saying: “DON'T QUOTE MY SONGS BRUH.”

Lil Jon then made an extra dig at Donald Trump, commenting: “ON ANOTHER NOTE R You GONN HELP 45 PACK HIS S*** UP [sic]?”

His tweet comes as Trump still refuses to concede the election after losing to Joe Biden, with secretary of state Mike Pompeo falsely stating on Tuesday (10 November) that there would be a “smooth transition to a second Trump administration”.

President-elect Biden has brushed off Trump’s refusal to concede, calling him an “embarrassment”.
