Nottingham Forest fans are full of praise for Joe Worrall after the defender stepped up in the Reds’ latest match.
Forest held on to secure a point with a 1-1 draw against Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday night, with Joe Lolley cancelling out Adam Armstrong’s opener.
The match saw experienced defender Michael Dawson sidelined due to a calf injury, with Tobias Figueiredo partnering Worrall at centre-back at Ewood Park.
Dawson had featured in all of Forest’s previous nine Championship matches prior to the clash against the Rovers, accompanied by Worrall at the hear of the Reds’ defence.
After the final whistle at Ewood Park, Forest fans showed how happy they were with Dawson’s display without his usual centre-back partner alongside him.
