'Revelation' - the Nottingham Forest player of the season so far

Nottingham Forest have enjoyed their start to the 2019-20 Sky Bet Championship season.

The Reds, under the relatively-unknown Sabri Lamouchi, sit second in the table, only off leaders West Bromwich Albion on goal difference.

Forest return after the international break with a trip to Wigan Athletic, looking to extend an unbeaten League run which stretches back to the opening game of the season.

But who have been the standout performers among a collective of excellent performances?

We put the question to you, the Forest fans, and here is what you had to say...

Robert Norton: I'm more impressed by the manager who has got the likes of Watson and Worrall looking like different players this season! That's a positive comment, by the way.

Allan Whitley: Marty Cash. He has slotted in as right back like it's his own position.

Nm Brown: It wouldn't be fair to just pick one player out. No one player is stand out. They're all pulling their socks up.

Gary Chambers: Watson because the manager has put the right players around him so that he doesn’t get isolated or caught on the wrong side of the ball. The difference is there for all to see!

Richard Smart: Samba. Can't beat having a properly good goalkeeper.

Cameron Wright: Brice samba so calm first time in years I don’t actually feel nervous when the ball goes at him or played back to him quality signing!

Daren Barrs: Watson has been a revelation this season, it’s like signing a £10 million player!

Nick Wilson: Samba, Watson and Worrall have all been outstanding. But tbh they are all playing with heart and as a team, first time in a long time. So my vote has to be Sabri Lamouchi.

Richard Best: Trying to pick just one player is tricky...a nice problem to have! I'd probably say Joe Worrall. After being out on loan last year and probably seen as a squad player at the start of the season, he's shown great professionalism.

Scott Markham: Samba, Worrall and cash have been amazing. Sow is a key player for us gives us a bit of muscle in midfield.

Jason Price: Team Effort, however Matty Cash stands out. Jack of all trades.

Gill Gamston: Ben Watson. Totally different player from last season.

Wynne Williams: Difficult to choose as real team effort but Samba, Matty Cash, Joe Worrall & Ben Watson
