A Florida woman had a lucky escape after a lightning bolt hit just yards away from where she was standing.
Doorbell camera footage shows the woman unpacking her car when a lightning bolt struck the tree in her neighbor’s front yard, with several bright flashes lighting up the sky on 27 June.
As the grass nearby burned, she quickly ran into her house, where all her children were screaming.
“I felt like a firecracker was lit next to me and the sparks were hitting me,” said the woman, who was not injured in the incident.
