The kickoff for Monday night’s NFL matchup between the Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium has been delayed until 8:55 p.m. ET.
The reason? Lightning in LA.
SoFi is a covered stadium. However, ESPN’s Suzy Kolber explained parts of the upper deck are exposed and that presented a danger to the fans in those seats.
The game features an AFC West matchup between the 3-0 Raiders and 2-1 Chargers.
Weather permitting, there will be football.
