To ring in the New Year, Magnolia Quality Development Corporation (MQDC) and Ratchaprasong Square Trade Association (RSTA) are staging a spectacular light show titled "Beautiful Bangkok @Magnolias Ratchadamri Boulevard".
This year's edition involves seven Thai artists whose works using 3D projection mapping and multi-colour lasers will illuminate the façade of the 60-storey Magnolias Ratchadamri Boulevard, home to high-end residences and the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok Hotel. MQDC chairman Raj Tanta-Nanta and CEO Visit Malaisirirat as well as members of the RSTA led by Korakot Srivikorn welcomed vice-minister for Tourism and Sports Itthiphol Kunplome, who presided over the premiere, at the hotel's Magnolia Ballroom.
Each night, the light show begins at 7pm with the last round at 9pm. On New Year's Eve, a countdown along with captivating illumination will start at 11.55pm.
