Lift worker electrocuted in Melbourne

WorkSafe Victoria is investigating after a young man was electrocuted while working on a lift. (AAP)

A man has been electrocuted while working on a lift at West Melbourne.

The 21-year-old was doing electrical work on a car stacker elevator on Monday when the incident occurred, WorkSafe Victoria said.

It is investigating. The death brings the state's workplace fatality toll to 10 so far this year.
