'Life was better without my kids", says mum-of-two

An honest mother has revealed her life was better before her children.

Posting an anonymous letter to Kidspot online, she says that though she loves her two boys she "wishes she never had them", reports The Mirror.

She wrote: "I think my life would be much better without them, because it was better without them."

Before having kids the mum loved her career and spent time socialising and travelling with her husband - describing her former life like a "rom-com".

They decided the time was right to have children and everything changed for the worst.

She wrote on parenting website Kidspot: "I am a mother of two, but I wish I was a mother of none.

"We had both wanted kids and we were excited about our first son's arrival but for me, when it did happen, the reality just didn't meet the expectation.

"I love him of course and he was an 'easy' baby in terms of sleeping and feeding and everything that makes a baby 'easy', but I just didn't love being a mum; I didn't love anything about it.

"It was the opposite, I was a person I never wanted to be - trapped and restricted by my own child."

Despite her feelings the mum had a second chld, but her view of parenthood remained, The Mirror reports.

She says her career stalled and describes her youngsters as "obstacles" on how she wants to live her life.

The mum rounds off her confession by saying if she knew how she would feel as a parent, she would never have been one.
