Lidl will be selling hand sanitiser in all Irish stores from Thursday.
The retailer announced the important hygiene products will be available for less than €2 per 100ml bottle.
A spokesman said: "We've joined forces with our Cork-based spirits supplier, West Cork Distillers, to produce 100ml hand sanitiser bottles on sale from Thursday, May 21 for only €1.99!
"West Cork Distillers have been supplying Lidl with premium, award-winning spirits since 2015, including Wild Burrow Irish Gin and Dundalgan Irish Whiskey.
"We've invested more than €12m into this business since the partnership began, and helped facilitate the export of their fantastic Irish products to Lidl stores in 16 countries across Europe."
It comes after the supermarket giant announced last week that it would introduce face masks for sale across all stores for the first time.
The retailer brought in a number of coverings both for staff and general sale.
They are being sold at cost price, with a Lidl spokesman insisting selling them without a markup is the "right thing to do".
The masks are on sale in a pack of 50, at a price of 87 cent per mask.
However customers were reminded that the masks are not medical grade standard.
A spokesman said: "We have prioritised a quantity for staff use, with the remaining volume going on general sale.
"These will be sold for €43.30, for a pack of 50 masks. These masks are non-medical grade.
"Lidl are selling these at cost price because we believe this is the right thing to do.
"The health and safety of our team and our customers is very important to us and we want to thank everyone for continuing to play a part in helping the fight against Covid-19."
