This Thursday is set to be an exciting day for all you new parents out there.
Lidl is set to have a smorgasbord of baby essentials from bedside cribs to sound monitors and everything in between.
We'll give you a little taste of some of the items that are going on sale at the German supermarket on May 13.
The main attraction will probably be the Nod bedside crib. Priced at €99.99, it's suitable for babies up to six months old. It can convert from a standalone crib to a bedside co-sleeper.
Other notable items include a hand-made palm Moses basket worth €39.99, which's safe for overnight sleeping as well as naps during the day. With hot weather coming soon, the breathable mattress cover will be appreciated by everyone, I'm sure. The basket is suitable for a newborn and is also machine washable.
There are plenty of everyday items that new parents will need. essentials like baby shampoo, baby powder and nappies will also be on sale.
In fact, Lidl has claimed parents could save on average €1,036 in their baby’s first three years by switching to Lupilu nappies from a leading brand.
Disposing nappies is uber important and it'll be easy with Tommee Tippee Simplee Nappy disposable bin for €14.99. It comes pre-loaded with one cassette that can store up to 18 used nappies at one time.
Also on sale are Simple Sangenic Refills in packs of three that can dispose of up to 180 used nappies when used with the aforementioned disposable bin.
A whole variety of wet wipes and nappy cream will also be on sale.
With staycations being all the rage this summer, having a travel-friendly cot is crucial for any new parent. It's quick and easy to open and fold down and comes with a travel bag. It costs €34.99.
Also on sale for your more mobile babies is the Bizzy Bee Walker for €44.99. Breast pumps, disposable nursing pads, nursing bras, storage bags and compresses are also on sale this Thursday.
A bunch of healthy children's food from a company called Organix will be on sale ranging from carrot puffs to rice cakes. Organic baby pouches will cost just €0.69c.
