It's only ten days until Christmas officially arrives, which means that quite a few of us will be doing our last minute shopping done for presents and food.
With so many other costs to think about at this time of year, spending a fortune on our Christmas dinner is usually the one thing we don't look forward to.
Thankfully, Lidl has announced that they will be slashing the prices of their Christmas vegetables to just 19p from Thursday December 16.
That's right, the budget supermarket has dropped their cheapest ever prices so that you can get all your Christmas menu sorted without breaking the bank.
The retailer has drastically reduced their prices across carrots, parsnips, mini roasts, red cabbage, Echalion shallots and, the all-important, Brussels Sprouts.

Shoppers will be able to find these epic festive savings in the veg aisles across all Scottish stores from tomorrow.
Martin Kottbauer, Chief Commercial Officer at Lidl GB, comments: “This year, like always, we want to help our shoppers enjoy the highest quality produce for the best value.
"As we look forward to delivering a brilliant Christmas for our customers, they can rely on the fact we won’t be beaten on price.”

Budget savvy shoppers will know that major supermarkets regularly drop their prices on Christmas veg as we get closer to the big day, in what has been dubbed the 'Christmas Veg Price War.'
Last year seen supermarkets drop the prices of some of our festive favourites to their cheapest ever prices, with some as low as 14p.
