Lidl shoppers go wild for £1.49 Sangria ice lollies and 'churros maker'

While many will be staying in Scotland this summer, Lidl is helping us get a taste of Spain with their new range and shoppers are already adding the snacks to their shopping lists.

While we might always have the hot weather to go along with it, Scots can at least pretend to be abroad with these snacks.

The ice lollies come in three flavours. Peach and watermelon, Blood orange, and grape, lemon and orange.

The summer products were posted on Facebook group, Snack News and Reviews and hundreds of shoppers flocked to the comments in excitement.

Most people were tagging friends and family, demanding them to pick up the treats on the next big shop.

One shopper was already inspired by the flavours: "Them peach and watermelon ones blended up with some gin."

"Gonna have to try these they look yummy," a second added.

Tagging a friend, one said: "Think I need a trip to lidl"

"we need to get some of these sangria lollies for freezer at work," said a third tagging their colleagues.

Mentioning a pal, another said, with the addition of multiple love heart eyes emojis: "we're going this weekend."

Another tagged her friend and simply exclaimed: "churrossssss"

Shoppers can enjoy the traditional Sangria flavour combination making these delicious treats perfect for a sizzling-hot summer’s day.

Available in two other delicious flavour combinations, shoppers will want to get their hands on both the sweet and tangy Blood Orange and fresh Watermelon flavours.

Ready to use in just two minutes, Lidl’s Churro maker allows shoppers to ditch deep fat-frying and bake these delicious mini desserts from scratch.

The budget supermarket is selling Sangria Ice Lollies for £1.49, churros for the same price as well as a churros maker for £14.99.
