Her embarrassing tale even made headlines in news outlets, after it captured the public's attention this week.
Lidl operates stores across the country and is widely regarded as one of the so called Big Six.
Its competition includes traditional rival Aldi, as well as Morrisons, Britain's biggest grocer Tesco, Sainsbury's and Asda.
She wrote on 'Family Lowdown Tips and Ideas' Facebook group: "I don’t think I can ever go back to Lidl again!
"Bloke in front of me had a shed load of booze in his trolley. Friendly cashier asks, 'having a party sir?'
"Upon my purchase of a mini bottle of Prosecco I pipe up 'I’m having a party too! Woohoo!' Then realise I have one other item in my basket.. a cucumber...
"Friendly cashier looks at me, I look at him, then I, predictably, get a massive laugh attack and can hardly breathe to pay the poor man. RIP my time at Lidl."
