Budget Supermarket, Lidl has officially launched their own clothing line 'Lidl by Lidl', which includes their popular trainers.
The store announced earlier this month it would be releasing their own clothing line in the UK, complete with their trainers that have been highly sought after by its fans.
The £12.99 trainers were originally released last year, but the range was not available in the UK. However, that didn't stop shoppers from finding them on Ebay, as they awaited the range to hit UK stores.
The highly sought after trainers have been so popular, that the Liverpool Echo reports that thousands of 'shoppers were searching for the shoes online prior to their release.'
New search figures from Love the Sales have shown the trainers to be in high demand, even outdoing some of the most popular designer trainer releases.
Designer brand Balenciaga's popular Triple S trainers were searched by around 110,000 shoppers, and Yeezy Boost 700 was searched around 33,100 times.
In comparison, Lidl's budget friendly £12.99 trainers managed to rack up 135,000 searches before they were even released.
Shoppers have been obsessed with the now iconic red, blue, and yellow striped trainers, that they have been selling for nearly £150 on ebay.
Now the wait is over, as the full 'Lidl by Lidl' clothing line is officially released today and will be available in stores nationwide.
If, like many others, you have taken a fancy to these now iconic trainers, then you may want to head to your local Lidl and purchase a pair while stock lasts.
