Easter is on the way, and with it comes the seasonal delight that is hot cross buns, along with chocolate eggs.
But now sweet-toothed shoppers can enjoy a delectable bun whilst getting their chocolate fix - thanks to the launch of Lidl 's new triple chocolate hot cross bun.
The budget supermarket chain has just released a range with new flavours of the Easter treat ahead of the big day on April 12th.
The Deluxe Triple Chocolate Hot Cross Buns are made from a tasty chocolate-flavoured dough, which is dotted with milk and white chocolate chunks. Our mouths are already watering.
They are sold in packs of four at a bargain price of 99p each, but there are other delicious options to choose from too.
Lidl's hot cross bun range also includes Apple & Cinnamon, which contains warming cinnamon and apple pieces, and Very Berry for those who prefer the taste of berries.
Traditionalists needn't fret as the supermarket is also selling its popular Luxury Hot Cross Buns.
Much like the triple chocolate option, these flavours are all priced at 99p for a four-pack.
Shoppers can find the entire hot cross bun range in store at Lidl. You can find your nearest Lidl supermarket by using the online store finder.
Asda is also selling chocolate hot cross buns in a four-pack for £1, both in store and online .
While Waitrose does a pack of four ' Chocolate & Orange Hot Cross Buns ' for £1.69.
Tesco's hot cross bun range includes an Apple & Cinnamon option (£1.50), along with a Salted Caramel & Chocolate flavour (£1.50).
The supermarket is currently doing a deal that gets you two packs of any hot cross buns for £2.50 - saving you 50p.
