It's well known by now that Lidl is a good spot for a bargain, but we reckon their latest deal - if it stands up to scrutiny - will have many queueing out the door to get their hands on it.
Lidl Northern Ireland have announce their partnership with Donegal chef Gary O’Hanlon, to bring customers a luxurious Christmas dinner menu that is less than £7 per person, for a dinner that feeds up to 10 people.
The meal includes a starter, a turkey main course with all the trimmings, and a lovely dessert to boot.
Pretty good, right? Let's break down what's on offer on their menu:
Starter: Cured Salmon Gravadlax
As a starter, Lidl are offering you the option of a cured salmon starter, with Lidl’s Salmon Gravadlax.
This dish includes Salmon Gravadlax, sweet potato, rooster potato and horseradish sauce.
With a price per head of just £1.60, its not a bad way to start your Christmas meal.
Main Course: Roast Breast of Turkey
With: Ham Croquette, Chantenay Carrot, Spiked Cranberry Stuffing, Bone Jus, Parsnip Crisps
Truffled Brussels Sprouts & Smoked Bacon Mornay, Duck Fat Roasties: Candied Turnip, Rosapenna Pommes
Like all good Christmas dinners, this one packs plenty onto the plate, and comes packed to the brim with flavour.
Lidl are offering their deluxe turkeys for £11.90 and ham fillets for £3.35. Combine that with all the trimmings, and it comes to just £3.50 per head if there's 10 people at the table.
Not bad if you're looking to make extra savings on your meal this year!
Dessert: Classic Crème Brûlée
Lidl have a range of dessert options in the table for Christmas this year. Including a Christmas pudding for £8.99, and offers on their Deluxe crème brulée and ice-cream.
All told, it comes to approximately £1.30 per person for the desserts.
