Lidl launches Spanish inspired treats this summer - including sangria lollies and churros

A range of summer treats is to be launched by Lidl and is set to be a hit for those missing a holiday in Spain and those craving some affordable culture.

The discount store is helping customers get a taste of the summer sun with Sangria lollies and the return of dessert favourite, Churros and a Churro maker.

Available in three delicious flavour combinations for just £1.49 each, the shops will be stocked with Blood Orange, Watermelon and Sangria Ice Lollies.

They say they are recreating the refreshing combination of mixed fruit, wine and orange juice for the Scottish heatwave.

Missing Spain? Lidl have Churros you can make at home (Lidl)

For lovers of the sweet cinnamon dessert, Churros are back in stock in bags costing £1.49 as part of the Sol Y Mar range.

And for committed fans of the fluffy and golden Spanish treats, the store is releasing a Churro maker so we can make the traditional street food at home.

Lidl says that its ready to use in just two minutes, and allows shoppers to ditch deep fat-frying and bake these delicious mini desserts from scratch.

The device costs £14.99 and it will be available in stores across Scotland from Thursday 22nd July while stock lasts.

There are also other products in-store to look out for that feature as part of Lidl’s Sol Y Mar range.
